What is this?

This is a crowd-supported online living campaign for Pathfinder 1st Edition.  This is a place for players, GMs, and aspiring writers to upload and share original adventures to play.

How is it organized?

It’s organized in a very simple manner – with just this website.

How do I get involved?

Users can contribute by writing and uploading their own adventures here, and all can download and play those adventures for free.

There are some simple guidelines needed to make things fair for all parties, although, you’ll find that the guidelines are very wide open and basic.  Character creation is the same usual way, as well as the rules mechanics found in the Core Rulebook.  Head on over to the Rules section for more information.

If you want to write and upload an adventure, great!  We need adventures.  This is the opportunity for you to easily learn about writing adventures, gain some experience, ply your craft, and upload your creation for millions of players to experience.  This is also a perfect opportunity to receive feedback on your creation, and to hone your writing skills.  Head on over to the “How do I submit adventures?” section for an easy step-by-step process.

Why only 15 ability score points to use?

There are two big reasons the Standard Fantasy is used instead of the High Fantasy.  In order to get the CRs of encounters more in line with the APLs of adventuring groups, the lower Standard Fantasy template has to be used.  It also helps cut down on the power-creep that can infect Pathfinder.  This is really the only main limitation to this Living campaign.

What about sources, resources, races, and classes?

Most everything that you love about Pathfinder is available to your character.  For more information, head on over to the Rules section.

Are we allowed to do this?

Yes!  Paizo encourages creative use with their products and Intellectual Property, as long as their trademarks are respected.  This website is fully within the bounds of Paizo Community Use Policy.
