Dawn in Arwyll Stead

The peaceful and tranquil place in the fertile and productive valley of Arwyll Stead is the perfect location to wait for a further word on a potentially lucrative task. But how long do you have to wait for a simple message to arrive?

  1. One minor note, you rarely if ever want to use language that takes away control of a PC from the player. Example, in the conclusion you say “As night falls on the first night after the attack, a feast is held in your honor. You enjoy the food, and you enjoy the drink, but in the back of your mind, you wonder who this Klaus person is, and if the village should be ready for any further unwelcome visitors.”
This can be rewritten to express the same sentiment without actually controlling how the characters “feel” or what they think.
Also, remember that proper names, locations, etc from Golarion or another author’s published material is the property of Paizo and even though your product is free, you cannot use those properties without permission from Paizo. AFAIK, that requires some form of licensing which is why most 3PP products are setting neutral. Only the ones who have a specific license to use Paizo’s IP can reference that content in their published material. Something to think about.

  2. Thank you for the feedback on the adventure. I admit that it is a little disjointed. But, that’s the mood I was going for. I wanted a bit of a sense of chaos. That last part in the conclusion is simply a cliffhanger, and is meant to queue up further adventures.

For the legal side of your comment, as long as everything complies with the few simple requests Paizo makes concerning the usage of their Intellectual Property, which this website does, such specific locations and names are allowed to be used. More here about that:
